EWILAN'S QUEST is an animated series (2D) of 8 episodes of 26 minutes, directed by Justine METTLER, Eve CECCARELLI and Fabien DAPHY.
I supervised the Background Painting Department of the Belgian team at Studio Souza in Brussels during more than a year. Ewilan's Quest is a beautiful and epic project, with a colorful and appealing painterly style.
Here below is a part of the instructions and colorsketches I had to give to my team, because we couldn't receive a colorkey from preproduction for all the shots. I must say that every sequences was a blast to paint...
